Montpellier by Race Furniture is a beautifully tailored tip‑up seat, originally conceived in collaboration with Foster + Partners for Cambridge University’s Law Faculty. It brings structured elegance and ergonomic support to lecture theatres, auditoriums, corporate learning centres, and public waiting areas.

Designed to encourage engagement and comfort, Montpellier combines refined lines with practical features like an integrated writing shelf and discreet power/data ports—perfect for laptops and tablets. Whether outfitting historic halls or visionary new builds, Montpellier delivers clarity, comfort, and class in every seat.

Race Furniture’s products can be disassembled with standard tools thereby allowing reuse, refurbishment, repair, and recycling of components.
