Initially to begin the process, you will let us know the unit you would like servicing and we will provide you a quote. Your service will include a full inspection of your unit and we will also carry out any minor adjustments (such as re-fitting bolts to lower / lift columns) during the visit. Afterwards we will provide a detailed checklist for each unit highlighting any potential issues.

A retractable unit is likely to have to safely support hundreds of people at any one time, is a moving piece of equipment, and, when powered, is a piece of machinery. In Britain and Europe, retractable systems must adhere to the BS EN 13200 standard, and has requirements around safety, load handling, layout, labelling and documentation. They also must be covered by the Provision and Use of Work Equipment (PUWER) regulations, as they are pieces of equipment that have to be operated by a person as part of their work. You must be able to show that the equipment is in sound working order and that they have been regularly inspected by qualified professionals with records kept of these inspections. You may also find that your unit will also need to meet Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER).
